Last February we played around with our classic Volcano IPA recipe and changed the hops to showcase two unsung favourites: Sabro and Sorachi Ace. And its become one of our most requested beers… Why not take Volcano IPA and switch out the usual hops for Sabro and Sorachi Ace? Both of these hops are known for their unique tropical, herbal characteristics with flavors reminiscent of coconut, lemongrass and vanilla. Can hops be controversial? If so, then Sabro and Sorachi Ace – with their intense floral, lemongrass and coconut flavours – must surely be the most contentious there is.
