Swannay: Orkney Best Bitter (500ml)

A classic bitter ale that, as Rob once said, is suitable for drinking at any time of the day. Not that we at all endorse a lunchtime beer, save it for special occasions, but you know what we mean – this beer is light and refreshing. At only 3.6% it’s one of our lowest ABV beers in a bottle.

Starting with a simple malt bill of British grains we build on this with rather a lot of soft, delicate and low alpha hops from the UK, Poland and Germany for a layered and complex, yet still ever so refreshing, hoppy finish.
