Wander Beyond: Wah Donka Wheat Wine (440ml)

Our new beer release this week is an absolute passion project from our head brewer Mat and a beer he’s wanted to make for a very long time.
Wah Donka is a wheat wine, taking its name from the Sherpa term for a red panda (hence the wonderful artwork provided by our designer Tina) and in tribute to the beautiful deep red colour of the beer.
The nose opens up with dark fruits and plums followed by the classic banana notes from the Hefeweizen yeast. The taste brings out further quintessential wheat characteristics of Banana and light spices all wrapped around the beautifully boozy, yet light backbone.
