On the nose Backcountry is a bright, fruity beer with enticing tropical hints of passionfruit. The flavours and mouthfeel defy expectation, showcasing a myriad of citrus flavours spanning juicy and fresh right through to a pithy finish. A cedar wood infusion introduces echoes of sweetness, whilst over time, the combination of Brettanomyces and traditional brewer’s yeasts introduce additional layers of complexity.
