Simple Things Fermentations: Belgian IPA (440ml)

A delicious IPA that’s big on fruity flavour thanks to a combination of Chinook, Amarillo and Talus hops along with the classic Belgian-style bubblegum-spice-led fermentation character. Pours an appetising pale straw colour with lively carbonation, bright white foam and classic Belgian aromatics of white pepper and citrus fruit, with tropical and pine notes contributed by the generous hopping. Candied orange/tangerine citrus, nectarine, pine resin, tinned peaches and banana all rest on good malty foundations. Clean and dry with an appropriate amount of bitterness, not massively boozy for the ABV but pleasingly flavourful and full bodied. A stealthy, perfectly balanced, massively tannable IPA that wears its DIPA-strength lightly and brings some tasteful Euro-spice to the party.
