Polly’s Brew Co: Party Woods Pale Ale (440ml)

We’ve known since day dot that Citra and Simcoe is a pretty difficult to beat combination in terms of flavour intensity – much more so since we cracked open the bags of crop year 24 Citra and Simcoe.

How on earth do you improve on what is pretty much perfection though? You send that beer for a whistlestop tour to the south Pacific for a NZ flourish!

We’ve been blown away by the intensity of the most recent batch of Rakau we got our hands on, so when there was a slot available for a third hop on Party Woods, we knew immediately what would be filling that gap. A fruit forward flavour party of apricot, passionfruit and blueberries playing off bright citrus notes are followed by a swag bag of ripe plums, mango and sharp lime make up this incredible pale ale that is perfect for cracking open a couple of cans with pals.
