“Behold Double Pagan, a Double IPA version of our flagship Hazy Pale Ale Pagan Juice. Releasing in time for the Autumn Equinox which is celebrated as Mabon, a harvest festival that marks the end of summer, and the beginning of Autumn. On the autumnal equinox, the Northern Hemisphere begins to experience longer nights and shorter days as the Sun crosses the celestial equator, marking the start of autumn. This year it takes place on Monday 22nd September at 08:44AM It is impossible to know the origins, but Mabon (it’s modern Pagan name) has been celebrated in some form for thousands of years, especially across the British Isles. Celebrations would be of the last harvest before the change of seasons. One last big celebration before the days become shorter, darker and colder. Double Pagan was brewed in celebration! For the beer, we’ve kept the water chemistry and the same, just dialled up the amount of malt and hops to bring it out at 8.0% and from 15g/l up to 23g/l… It’s incredibly soft, clean and overflowing with intense aromas of tropical fruits, citrus and a hint of pine.
